Mike Passino is a sole practitioner in Nashville, emphasizing labor and employment law, but has represented several capital defendants. He has also served as staff attorney for the Tennessee Capital Case Resource Center from 1990-1992, as Assistant Attorney General from 1977-1980, and worked for the University of Tennessee’s legal aide program in 1977. Passino has been an instructor in programs for lawyers sponsored by the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, the Administrative Offices of the United States Courts, the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (TACDL), and the ABA’s Labor Law Section. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America 2001-2006 (labor and employment). Mike received his B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1974, his J.D. in 1976, and was Editor-In-Chief of the Tennessee Law Review and an instructor of legal research and writing.
