Brock Mehler is currently a sole practitioner in Nashville where he works primarily on death penalty appeals. Mehler served as a staff attorney with the Capital Case Resource Center of Tennessee. He practiced law in California from 1970-1984 and worked in the death penalty arena in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. In 2002 he won the Lionel R. Barrett, Jr. award by the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (TACDL) for his exceptional death penalty work. Mehler is a 1978 graduate of University of San Francisco School of Law.
